Shotfarm is well on its way to solving a $5B retail industry problem by centralizing the exchange of basic product content (images, videos, descriptions, and specifications) between retailers and manufacturers that is necessary in order to start selling the product. Since its public release in 2010, over 7,500 companies use our SaaS service to solve a major pain point.

Although brands of all sizes are actively looking for a solution, we’re looking for passionate Enterprise Account Executives to help communicate our clear advantages to the larger brands. You will work as part of a team that “owns” a target vertical such as CPG, Sporting Goods, Automotive, DIY, Juvenile, Electronics and more. You’ll target a seemingly endless list of named accounts trying to build your business.

Daily Job Description

  • Prospect, target, research, contact and close new business by phone, email & web conference
  • Prepare & submit proposals and negotiate agreements
  • Manage daily activities and funnel within Salesforce
  • Travel limited mostly to tradeshow prospecting

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of successful consultative selling with proven track record selling at the Director-level and higher within software, technology, media/advertising or agency
  • Experience selling DAM and PIM platforms a plus
  • Specific vertical experience a plus (e.g. DIY, CPG, Juvenile, Electronics, Sporting Goods, etc)
  • Cold calling experience and closing skills
  • Strong presenter skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional appearance with strong, confident personality
  • Ability to create personal relationships with clients
  • B.S. in sales/marketing or related field
  • Strong working knowledge with Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.

Compensation

Base salary, fantastic recurring commission plan, annual bonus, vacation, health & dental.

Location

Positions will be based in our new, techy, modern vibe office in an eastern Cleveland suburb. We’ll only consider remote candidates with strong experience selling software or services to Marketing teams within a national brand.

Full-Stack Developer, PHP/LAMP

Full-Stack Developer, PHP/LAMP

The Shotfarm Product Content Network empowers retailers and manufacturers to request, locate, distribute, transfer, resize and rename product assets and content all from a single centralized, standardized and simplified platform. We are looking for a Chicago-based, full-stack, PHP and Javascript developer to help develop our web-based SaaS business-to-business exchange platform for media assets.

As part of the development team, the web developer will deliver full-stack, high-performance, website functionality from conception to completion, including development strategy/approach, development, implementation and testing. This role you’ll use modern software development methodologies including all of the features of PHP 5.5+, the Laravel framework, Eloquent ORM, Blade, Bootstrap, KnockoutJS, and the Amazon AWS cloud in an agile environment. We are looking for an individual with strong knowledge of PHP 5.5 and solid development chops. The perfect candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and be willing to take on the risks and rewards of an exciting, funded internet start up.
Responsibilities

  • Be part of a team of web developers that build and maintain an innovative SaaS site.
  • Full cycle involvement of application development including:
  • Creation of and adherence to a development schedule based on Agile methodology.
  • Utilize modern SDLC practices
  • Write object-oriented code with MVC concepts
  • Management of and participation in all quality control and functionality testing plans.
  • Participate in zero-downtime deployments

Requirements

  • Two years of web development.
  • Solid proficiency in delivering web applications using HTML, Javascript, PHP, MySQL and Apache in a Linux environment.
  • Knowledge of MVC Frameworks (specifically Laravel 4+), CSS, JavaScript and JQuery.
  • Strong knowledge of OOP.
  • Successful track record of looking at requirements, putting together estimates, and delivering projects successfully and on schedule.
  • Knowledge of event driven distributed computing a plus.
  • Experience working in and managing an Agile development environment.
  • Experience using SVN/GIT.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems, including WordPress a plus.

The Internal Marketing Manager will work with the Director of Marketing to execute an internal marketing plan focused on engaging Shotfarm members to increase system usage and adoption of value-add applications and services.

Our perfect candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be willing to take on the risks and rewards of an exciting, funded internet start-up, and be overflowing with unique ideas.
Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the marketing strategy focused on product adoption and overall success of existing Shotfarm members.
  • Analyze and interpret what behaviors and patterns make customers successful and more likely to be retained by the company.
  • Maximize these successful approaches and run tests to improve them.
  • Craft strategies to better nurture our customers toward actions the company wishes them to take — and ensuring these actions (product adoption, event signups, trainings, etc.) are actually in our customers’ best interests.

We seek an analytics-driven marketing team contributor who will develop, own, and execute a strategic online program that identifies opportunities to improve Shotfarm’s retail and manufacturing keyword search activity at each stage of the customer engagement and acquisition funnel. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial professional who understands the changing nature of a high-growth startup organization and thrives in this type of environment. Responsibilities

  • Define, manage, and execute both on-site and off-site SEM / SEO /SMO activities
  • Collaborate with external and internal marketing managers, content manager, freelance writing resources, and other contributors in creating high-quality content centered around defined and relevant keywords and terms
  • Manage goal-driven organic and paid search engine performance against such metrics as site impressions, clickthrough rates, website traffic, and conversions

Responsibilities

  • Leverage data to derive meaningful insights into customer and prospect engagement behavior
  • Contribute to integrated marketing strategy by analyzing and reporting on performance of online marketing channels including website, blog, email / lead nurturing, social media, organic search, and paid search
